Electric Soul presents the Fender American Hot Rod 60’s Nashville Telecaster. It is
a unique version of the vintage Telecaster, with classic 1960s-inspired specifications and unusual electronics based on three single-coil pickups.

If you like the shape and character of a Telecaster but also want the electronic possibilities known from a Stratocaster (the “quack” positions 2 and 4 and a middle pickup similar to the sound used by Eric Clapton), this is a very interesting option. In this model the third pickup is not a modification, the guitar was made this way at the factory. The Hot Rod series includes special models like this, inspired by creative ideas from guitarists.

The specification of the instrument is very solid. This is not a budget model, but a USA-made guitar from a higher series. It has excellent pickups: Custom Shop Broadcaster at the bridge, Texas Special in the middle, and Twisted Tele at the neck. In addition to the 5-way pickup switch, the guitar also has an S-1 switch, which allows additional pickup combinations. There are many different sounds to explore.

The guitar is comfortable and ergonomic. It has a D-shaped neck with a compound fingerboard radius, from the classic 7.25 inches near the nut (great for chords) to 12 inches in the higher positions, which makes bending notes easy and smooth.

Visually, it is classic Fender retro style. The guitar has a nitrocellulose finish in the traditional three-tone sunburst and historically correct hardware.

The guitar was made in 2016. There are some small signs of use on the finish, like light scratches and small dents (mostly near the edges), but overall it looks very good. The technical condition is excellent, everything works perfectly and the frets are in great shape.
