Electric Soul presents a Gibson Les Paul Standard in the classic Honey Burst finish.

This guitar was made in 1999, coming from a highly respected period in Gibson’s history. The reputation of Gibson guitars from the 1990s continues to grow, and instruments from that era are becoming increasingly sought after and valuable. They are widely praised by players and collectors alike, making them a great choice for anyone looking for a quality vintage Gibson.

At nearly 30 years old, this guitar naturally shows some signs of use, including light scratches and small dents typical of a well-kept instrument of this age. Overall, however, it remains in very good condition. Importantly, the guitar has never suffered any headstock breaks, cracks, or other significant structural damage. All mechanical and electronic components function correctly, and the frets are in excellent condition with plenty of life remaining.

The only modification is a replacement bridge, which is virtually identical to the original unit.

The specifications are classic Les Paul. The guitar features a mahogany body and neck, a maple top, and a rosewood fingerboard. During the 1990s, Les Paul Standards were fitted with Gibson 498T and 490R pickups, which today are more commonly associated with Custom models. These pickups offer a slightly higher output and a somewhat darker voicing than traditional PAF-style pickups, making this guitar particularly well suited for rock and related genres.

The neck has a medium profile, sitting comfortably between the larger 1950s style neck and the slimmer 1960s style neck.

The guitar comes with its original brown Gibson hard case featuring the classic pink interior and protective shroud. The case shows some signs of use and the combination lock is not working, but otherwise it remains fully functional.

The guitar weighs approximately 4.2 kg (9.3 lbs), which is an excellent weight for a 1990s Les Paul. Most examples from this period tend to be significantly heavier.
