Description

Electric Soul presents a Furch Vintage 2 D-SR. This 2021 guitar is additionally equipped with a high-quality Carlos VIP Double Micro pickup system, which was not included as standard on this model.

This is a professional dreadnought guitar from a Czech manufacturer with an already well-established international reputation. It is definitely worth considering as an alternative to top American brands. This is a high-end instrument that offers much more than its price might suggest. For years, Furch has been proving that you don’t have to look across the ocean to find an excellent acoustic guitar. The build quality, choice of materials and carefully developed sound make these instruments serious alternatives to Martin, Taylor and Gibson. The Vintage series is a particularly good example, combining traditional looks with modern build quality. At the same time, Furch has its own unique style, which is clearly present in this guitar.

The D-SR features a proven combination of solid Sitka spruce for the top and solid Indian rosewood for the back and sides. The all-solid dreadnought body provides a great foundation for a balanced sound, with the sparkling high end that Furch guitars are known for. Other features include a mahogany neck with a Soft V profile, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Gotoh tuners. The herringbone trim, abalone rosette, pearl position markers and light-colored binding add a touch of class. The Vintage Finish gives the guitar a subtle aged look.

One of the main highlights of this particular example is the additional Carlos VIP Double Micro (DM) pickup system mentioned above. This is an exclusive system developed by Carlos Juan, combining an under-saddle pickup with a large internal microphone. The option to blend in the microphone signal adds a more natural acoustic character, capturing the body resonance, space and fine details of the sound. Volume, tone and microphone blend controls are conveniently located inside the soundhole. The system was designed for demanding musicians and is used by, among others, world-famous players from the Spanish guitar scene. The electronics alone cost over 600 EUR when purchased separately. This is a serious investment in the guitar’s live performance capabilities and a valuable upgrade to this particular instrument.

The guitar has some minor signs of normal use, including small scratches and a few light dents. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect its overall appearance. The guitar still looks very good. Technically, everything is in excellent condition.

Comes with the original hard case.
