Description
Electric Soul presents the exceptional Taylor DN-K. This 2011 guitar was made in Taylor’s American factory in El Cajon and belongs to the exclusive Acoustic Koa series. It is a rare and unusual dreadnought that impresses not only with its fantastic sound but also with its choice of materials, rich decorations and outstanding elegance. This is definitely a high-end instrument, perfect for musicians looking for something a little different from the usual models.
The main feature of this model is its solid Hawaiian koa back and sides. This wood is highly valued for its beautiful grain and golden-brown colour. Here, it is combined with a solid Sitka spruce top. The result is a guitar with an all-solid wood construction, using a combination that goes well beyond the specifications of Taylor’s basic models.
The high quality of this guitar can also be seen in the details. One of the most eye-catching features is the beautifully decorated top edge. Alongside the light binding, there is an impressive abalone inlay that reflects different colours depending on the angle of the light. Combined with the decorative rosette, attractive fretboard markers, gold tuning machines and natural koa grain, it gives the guitar a truly elegant and luxurious look. Other features include a mahogany neck, ebony fretboard and bridge, and a satin finish on the back of the neck for comfortable playing.
The guitar we are offering has been kept in almost perfect condition. There are only a few minor cosmetic signs of use. For a 2011 instrument, it looks fantastic, and it is difficult to find anything to complain about regarding its overall condition. Technically, everything is also in perfect working order.
The original hard case is included.
