Description

Electric Soul presents the Duesenberg 49er guitar. This time, a model in the rare Honey finish with a black back. It looks very interesting.

As you can see at first glance, the instrument is a variation on the Gibson Les Paul model. However, it is not another replica of Gibson’s classic proposal, but  as befits a creation of German engineers, a thoughtfully redesigned construction offering a definitely new quality.

We do have a singlecut shape and a properly thick mahogany body with a maple top, but there are also many changes such as strings running through the body, a long scale length, and a rare (minimalist, but extremely functional) pickup configuration based on a humbucker at the bridge and a single coil at the neck. It is also worth emphasizing the really comfortable neck, not too thick for this type of construction, which allows you to feel truly comfortable, as well as the low weight of around 3.6 kg. In general, Duesenbergs are above-average refined guitars in terms of craftsmanship, which despite their very classic styling offer excellent ergonomics.

Of course, Duesenberg also means excellent looks. The unique combination of the honey top with the black back and the brand’s typical art deco style details create the one-of-a-kind appearance of the instruments of this brand.

The instrument is used, but kept in great condition. You will notice some small scratches and dents, but there are no major signs of use like chips, etc. Overall, great condition it is hard to expect more from a used instrument that is 13 years old (made in 2013). Technically, everything is also in order. The frets are in excellent condition.

The set includes the original hard case and documents from the manufacturer.
