Description
Electric Soul presents the Kramer Single Cut Custom from 2010.
This is an unusual model from Kramer, a brand mainly known for 1980s-style superstrat guitars. This time, we have something completely different – a classic single-cut guitar designed to compete with traditional Gibson Les Paul guitars as well as models such as the ESP Eclipse.
The guitar has a very impressive look. The Trans Black finish with transparent lacquer shows the beautiful quilted maple top. It is complemented by attractive abalone binding and black hardware, giving the guitar a more aggressive and modern character. The overall combination of materials and finish makes this a very eye-catching instrument, especially for players who like guitars with a lot of visual details.
The design also focuses on modern playing comfort. The guitar combines the classic Les Paul shape with more modern specifications, including a comfortable Slim Taper neck and a 16-inch radius. It is also very light, weighing around 3.5 kg. This gives you the classic LP-style shape while adding some of the comfort usually associated with superstrat guitars.
This particular example also features high-quality electronics. The original pickups have been replaced with a Seymour Duncan SH-2 in the neck position and an SH-6 at the bridge. This is a proven combination that works very well with both high-gain distortion and clean tones, making the guitar suitable for many different styles.
The guitar is 16 years old, but it is in excellent condition. There are some small signs of normal use, but they are only cosmetic. Technically, everything works perfectly. The guitar has been professionally set up and is ready to play.
We definitely recommend it. A great choice for guitarists looking for something less common and different from the usual choices.
