Electric Soul presents a Gibson Les Paul Standard in the classic Ebony finish.

This guitar was made in 1995, coming from a very respected period in Gibson’s history. The reputation of Gibson guitars from the 1990s is constantly growing. Even today, you can find instruments from this period selling for serious money. They are well regarded, highly sought after and becoming more expensive. It is always a pleasure to own a guitar from this era.

The specification is classic. It has a mahogany body and neck, a maple top and a rosewood fingerboard. In the 1990s, the Les Paul Standard came from the factory with the 498T/490R pickups, which today are mostly found in Custom models. They have a slightly stronger output and a darker character than classic PAF-style pickups, making this guitar a great choice for rock and similar styles of music.

The neck has a medium thickness. It is somewhere between the 50s and 60s neck profiles.

The guitar is now over 30 years old, so there are some small signs of use, such as scratches and small dents. These are minor things, and overall the guitar is in very good condition for its age.

Of course, there have been no breaks, cracks or other serious damage. All mechanical and electronic parts work properly. The frets are in excellent condition and definitely do not need any work.

The guitar has never been modified. It is completely original, which can be an important advantage from a collector’s point of view.

The guitar comes with the original brown Gibson case with pink interior and a blanket cover. The case has some signs of use and the combination lock does not work, but overall it is in good condition.

The guitar weighs around 4.3 kg. This is a very good result, 1990s Les Pauls are usually not particularly light, so this one is actually quite nice in terms of weight.
