Electric Soul presents the Gibson J-45 guitar in a very rare, limited Custom version. This is a striking and practically unseen model made in 2016 (2017 model year edition).

In this unique version, one of the most recognizable and best-selling acoustic models in Gibson history received a more exclusive character. Beautiful nitrocellulose finish, eye-catching bindings, luxury inlays, and gold hardware clearly set this version apart from standard series examples. At the same time, it keeps everything that has defined the J-45 for decades, the classic, timeless round shoulder construction and versatile character, thanks to which this model has remained one of the most important reference points in the world of acoustic guitars since 1942, both in the studio and on stage.

It is a true workhorse that performs perfectly in most musical applications.

The instrument is made entirely of solid wood, the top is made of solid spruce, while the back and sides are made of solid rosewood. The mahogany neck with a 60’s Slim Taper profile is the slimmest and most user-friendly neck you can find on Gibson guitars. A small touch of modernity is the Richlite fingerboard, a material very similar to ebony in appearance and properties, while also being exceptionally stable and resistant to changing conditions. It looks excellent and works great.

The whole package is completed by the factory L.R. Baggs VTC system, allowing convenient amplification of the instrument without interfering with its construction.

The instrument is used, but its overall condition raises no concerns. The guitar is fully functional, without damage or modifications, professionally set up and ready to play. Despite being ten years old, it looks practically like new, and it is hard to expect more from a used instrument.

An additional advantage is the very good weight of only 2.25 kg.
