Description

Electric Soul presents a semi-hollow body Gibson ES-135 in Vintage Sunburst color. This is a limited edition model made in 2001.

This guitar is one of Gibson’s classics. It was first produced in 1956–1958, during the company’s golden era, when many new and often groundbreaking electric guitar designs were created. After many years, a slightly updated ES-135 returned in the early 1990s. Today, the model is no longer in production, so you cannot buy a new one.

Like the slightly later Gibson ES-335, this guitar sits between jazz, blues, and rock styles. It has a large hollow body with a solid maple center block that reduces feedback, allowing it to handle overdriven sounds better. This means it can produce both deep, warm clean tones and also work well for rock and alternative styles with
a vintage, slightly dirty sound. It has a classic hollow-body tone and depth that solid guitars cannot match, but it is more versatile than typical jazz guitars. The electronics feature 57 Classic pickups inspired by old PAF pickups.

The guitar has a classic jazz look and the typical Gibson style. It includes a trapeze tailpiece, nitro finish, beautifully shaped maple body, rosewood fingerboard, and cream binding, giving it a great appearance.

The guitar is in very good condition, especially considering its age. There are only minor cosmetic signs of use. Technically, everything works perfectly. It has no defects and has not been modified.

It comes with the original case, which is no longer available today. The case has brown covering, pink plush inside, a combination lock, and a characteristic interior flap. The case itself also has value.
