Electric Soul presents a Martin 000X1 acoustic guitar. This is a very interesting discontinued model that can be a much more affordable alternative to the famous higher-end Martin 000 guitars. If you are looking for an OM-style acoustic but do not have the budget for a premium model, this guitar may offer everything you need without spending a fortune.

While this model is visually simpler than Martin’s top-tier guitars (although the satin finish looks beautiful), and includes a few more budget-friendly and experimental features such as a composite fingerboard and laminated back, it is still a USA-made Martin carrying one of the most iconic names in the acoustic guitar world. It follows Martin’s design philosophy and delivers the sound and character the brand is known for. Later versions of this model were made in Mexico, making this USA-built example especially appealing.

This guitar was made in 2007. It is nearly twenty years old but remains in very good condition. There are some signs of normal use, including small dings, scratches, and minor dents, but these are only cosmetic and add character to the instrument. Technically, everything is in excellent working order. The guitar has been professionally set up and is ready to play. The frets have received a light dressing and are in excellent condition, with no work needed.

The guitar is also very lightweight, weighing only 1.94 kg (4.3 lbs).
