Electric Soul presents a Fender Jazzmaster from the high-end American Ultra series. This is a modern version of one of Fender’s less popular designs, which over the years became a symbol of alternative rock. Known for its elegant shape and unique technical features, the Jazzmaster never became as famous as the Strat or Tele, but it found many fans looking for something less ordinary.

Compared to the original late-1950s model, the American Ultra version has been modernized in almost every way. Fender added many modern features, turning this sometimes difficult vintage-style guitar into a comfortable and versatile modern instrument. It has a satin-finished maple neck with an easy-to-play “D” profile and a compound fingerboard radius (10–14 inches). It also features Ultra Noiseless Vintage pickups with an S1 switch in the volume knob. Together with the classic Jazzmaster electronics, this gives a huge range of sound options. The guitar also includes high-end hardware: locking tuners, an upgraded bridge, and the classic Jazzmaster-style vibrato with a lock.

Despite all these updates, the guitar keeps its iconic stage look. The metallic dark blue finish combined with the pearl pickguard looks truly outstanding. Another nice visual detail is the black binding on the fingerboard, showing that this guitar belongs to one of Fender’s top series.

This instrument is from 2022 and is in very good condition. There are only minimal signs of use, such as tiny marks on the fingerboard near the first and last frets (typical for this type of finish) and a few very small dents, but these are only cosmetic. Overall, the guitar looks almost brand new. The frets show no wear and remain in factory condition. The guitar has never been repaired or modified.
