Electric Soul presents a Gibson SG Standard ’61 in the classic Vintage Cherry finish for this model.

This guitar is from 2025, so it is one of the newest releases. The specification for this year includes a small vintage-style pickguard, hardware inspired by the original historical design (ABR-1 style bridge and vintage tuners), and a slim 60s Slim Taper neck that will appeal to players who do not like thicker Gibson necks. The pickups are Burstbucker ’61 humbuckers inspired by classic PAF constructions, and they have an excellent reputation. The guitar is finished in high-gloss nitro lacquer.

The SG is a true classic of the Gibson brand. The guitar has been in continuous production since it was introduced in the early 1960s. Two humbuckers in a mahogany body with the characteristic horned shape are
a proven recipe for an excellent rock guitar.

The instrument is in great overall condition. It has cosmetic signs of use in the form of small scratches and tiny marks in the lacquer near the tuner washers, but these are minor details without importance. Overall, it looks excellent and is only slightly below factory-new examples. Technically, everything is in perfect working order. Everything works correctly — from the tuners, through the truss rod adjustment, to the electronics and the frets are in excellent condition and definitely do not need any work.
