Fender Stratocaster American Standard Natural Ash 1999
Item sold. Thank you for your intrest!
Description
Electric Soul offers a Fender Stratocaster from the American Standard series. This is
a 1999 model in the quite rare and sought-after Natural Ash version. The guitar has an ash body, a maple fingerboard, and a clear finish that shows the natural wood grain.
The materials are similar to the earliest Fender designs. Originally, Stratocasters were made with ash and maple, while today most models have alder bodies. This difference affects not only the look but also the sound. An ash body gives a brighter, more percussive tone with natural compression. It works well for funk and pop-rock styles, with a characteristic “glassy” sound that is a bit less bluesy.
The instrument is almost 30 years old and shows clear signs of use – scratches, dents, and wear on the finish, especially on the fingerboard. It is not for someone looking for a perfect visual condition. However, for people who like a natural “relic” look and visible history, this can be a big advantage. Despite the wear, the guitar is in very good technical condition. The pickups and hardware are original, and everything works properly – from the neck adjustment to the electronics. In the past, vintage-style tuners were installed, and small holes from them are still visible. The original tuners have been reinstalled, so the guitar is now in its factory configuration. The frets were lightly polished and do not need any work.
The American Standard series offers versatile instruments suitable for many styles. They have flexible pickups, comfortable necks, and a classic look. It’s a proven choice for players who want one универсal Stratocaster.
This version is no longer produced and cannot be bought new. It is a popular and sought-after model that is becoming harder to find.
The original case is included.
