Electric Soul presents the PRS McCarty 20th Anniversary guitar. This is a 2005 model in the original Blue Matteo finish, with a flamed maple top (10-top) and bird inlays on the fretboard. It is a high-end USA-made instrument, comparable in quality to guitars from the modern PRS Core line.

The McCarty model is a version of the Custom 22 with a slightly thicker body, a Wide Fat neck, and PAF-style humbuckers (with coil split). It also has a wraparound bridge, a traditional 3-way switch, and vintage Kluson-style tuners. Compared to a standard Custom 22, this guitar is more inspired by the Gibson Les Paul and is a direct competitor to it. If you are looking for a Les Paul–style guitar but want lower weight (3.98 kg) and better ergonomics, this is one of the most obvious choices.

The instrument was made in 2005. It has some signs of use (small scratches and minor dings), but overall it looks very good. On the back of the body there are milky white finish clouds, which are typical for PRS guitars from that period. This is common and many instruments age this way. Technically everything works perfectly, and the frets are in great condition. For a guitar that is over 20 years old, it is in excellent shape.
